Betty Collerson, Still Standing (Straight Shooter: Australian Landscape)

While visiting friends in Canberra, I walked up Oakey Hill early one morning to see the sunrise. Oakey Hill has one of the many trigs found in Canberra, and stunning views. To me, more striking was this dead gum tree all lit up by the early morning sun, and surrounded by kangaroos enjoying the dewy grass.
