Squid are beautiful and fascinating and a great photo subject for underwater night photography. They have no bones and swim by jet propulsion, shooting seawater from a funnel. They can propel so quick that sometimes it seems they disappear into the water leaving behind sometimes an ink trail . They are both scared and attracted to the camera focus lights ending in their ever changing display of exciting colours and various tentacle positions .
