Scott Kelleher, POWERHOUSE, IN SEARCH OF LIGHT (PEOPLE 2023)

Whilst on a recent holiday to Torquay, Victoria, I was fortunate enough to get into contact with Jessica, a screen actor whom wanted to update her portfolio with some new content. I'd advertised last minute via STARNOW for a model, simply stating that it would be a street/graffiti/portrait shoot as I was keen to see some Melbourne street art. I chose Jessica because not only was she local to Geelong which is not too far from where I was staying, but also knowledgeable of the local graffiti art locations. She had also taken the time to write a cover letter and came across as genuinely interested, selling herself with her mixed heritage of Portuguese and Indian which could only add to the theme and diversity of my idea, She introduced me to a location called THE GEELONG POWERHOUSE, and I was not disappointed in gaining my taste of the amazing Melbourne street art scene once on location.
