David Lucas, Pixie's Parasol (September theme: Little things)

Autumn 2024 was a bumper season for fungi in the forests of the Dandenong Ranges in Victoria. These Mycena interrupta are tiny grey-blue fungi that appear brighter blue and translucent when shot from beneath. Post processing was limited to tonal range adjustments; no colour enhancement has been used. I shot 29 images, focus bracketed, and combined them with Helicon Focus.

Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
