Ben Watts, Monkey Magic (ANIMAL & NATURE 2020)

This series of images was taken at the world famous Jigokudani Monkey Park in Yamanouchi, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. Descending from the steep surrounding cliffs to bathe in the hot springs, these Japanese Macaques offer a truly magical viewing experience for tourists, just don't let them see you carrying food or you may end up in a tug of war with one! I think we see a little bit of ourselves in these creatures-our cousins, which forces us to contemplate what it means to be human.
