Julie Gill, Lone Red Capped Plover (September theme: Little things)
A lone red-capped plover delicately tottering along a sandy beach on the South Coast of NSW. Its tiny, light frame contrasts beautifully with the open shoreline, highlighting the fragile yet resilient nature of the plover in its coastal habitat. The bird's chestnut-red cap and black collar sides stands out against the muted tones of the beach and ocean; this little guy seem focused, almost pensive as if on a quiet search.
