Jai Daemion, Grassblade Bird Abstract (January theme: Abstract)

This abstract was made using a +4 close-up supplementary on a Nikkor 80-200 zoom lens on a Nikon DSLR. The shapes were naturally occurring, then the original NEF image was tweaked in Photoshop - including contrast, shadow detail, brightness, composition (cropping) and saturation. Once the 'bird' emerged, it could not be unseen.

Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
