Theresa Lee, Drawing On Creation (People and Portrait 2018)

Mira lived through the conflict in Bosnia while studying art in Sarajevo. She came to Sydney to study fashion design and now calls Australia home. I was inspired to photograph Mira because I truly admire her artistic talent. She sketches all her designs by hand and takes special care in the creation of each garment. Over the course of a few weeks Mira warmly welcomed me into her home to make this series.
