Caitlyn O'Sullivan, Chemical Imbalance (January theme: Abstract)

This image is a part of a series of self portraits that had been printed onto transparent film, melted in cooking oil, frozen in water and re-photographed. The Image was taken to look as if it was a brain scan, similar to scans that show the chemical imbalance in the brain in relation to anxiety and depression. Exposing this as a 'distortion of the brain'.
