Jonathan Abdipranoto, Bleak Obsession (Landscape 2018)
Social media is awash with beautiful shots of Sydney. There's almost an obsession to capture the city in amazingly vibrant and colourful skies that we are so lucky to get. I decided to flip this obsession with our city and present it in a more dreary and brutal way where beautiful light gets snuffed out by grim and gloomy clouds. The wretched look poses the question: what this place would be like if there wasn't a city in this incredible environment?
