Jari Cornelis, Beauty of the Beasts (Wildlife and Animal 2019)

Reptiles are some of the most hated and persecuted animals on the planet yet I aim to convey how beautiful they are and the places they live in through my photography. Reptiles are my passion and not only do I dedicate my studies to them to shed light on their behaviour and ways of conserving them but also my free time in persuit of new animals to capture with my lens. With a gecko on the smaller end of the scale to one of the largest lizards in the world the images I have presented here are from all over Australia but only reflect a fraction of its diveristy.

Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
