Theresa Lee, A Show of Light (May theme: Trees and Plants)

Inside Sydney University's campus I was transfixed by the brightness of these colourful kangaroo paws. Planted along a high concrete wall it was the way the autumn sunlight was highlighting their distinctive features which compelled me to make this photograph in black and white.
