Roz Zito, A Day in the Life of a Lion (Wildlife and Animal 2018)

It must have been breeding season for lions while we were in Africa in July 2018. A typical day in the life of a lion (apart from eating) seemed to be as follows: Look handsome and golden in the morning light. Cherchez le Femme, who seemed to have a headache. She rebuffed him more than once, but in the end she was ready and gratification followed. At night-time the exhausted lion relaxed after a very busy day creating the next generation.
