Join Australian Photography in Queensland’s Lamington National Park: June 6-10 2027
Join Australian Photography in the rainforest surrounds of Queensland’s Lamington National Park for a five-day creative photography workshop from June 6–10, 2027.
We’ll be teaming up with our friends at World Photo Adventures once again for our annual Creative Week, an immersive photography experience designed to help photographers of all levels expand their creativity and sharpen their skills in one of Australia’s most photogenic natural environments.
Australian Photography editor Mike O’Connor will join experienced tutors Darran and Frazer Leal for the workshop, which will focus on landscape, nature and wildlife photography, along with creative techniques, image development and workflow advice.
Set in the Gold Coast Hinterland, Lamington National Park offers incredible opportunities to photograph rainforest scenery, waterfalls, birds and native wildlife.
World Photo Adventures has been running workshops at the location for more than 25 years, with extensive local knowledge of the region’s best shooting locations and timing, and this will also be Mike's third trip here.
The four-night, five-day workshop includes accommodation, most meals and transport during the event, with a mix of accessible walks and longer options available depending on your interests and ability.
The workshop is AU$4,995.00 per person twin share. You can email Julia Leal to book here.
