In it, Bergman discusses the future of photography, and considers the implications of things like computational and smartphone image-making and the challenges professional photographers are likely to face in the coming years.

It's clear that from a technology perspective at least, photography has changed drastically in the last few years. Today, excellent photography gear is at almost everyone's fingertips, and as Bergman argues, this levelling of the playing field means that the creative side of being a photographer has never been more important - and key to future-proofing yourself as a professional shooter if that's what you do.
