The Polaroid-based exhibition 'Polaroid Resurrection', backed by FilmNeverDie, has been extended at Melbourne’s Photonet Gallery.

The Polaroid exhibition Polaroid Resurrection, backed by FilmNeverDie and currently running at Photonet Gallery in Melbourne, will be extended until April 30 due to popular demand.

Buoyed by the success of the opening weeks of their first-ever Polaroid exhibition, the organisers have announced that the exhibition will be extended from its original closing date of April 22. Hundreds of visitors have seen the exhibition and the official closing date has been pushed back to meet demand.

This Australian first exhibition is being held in conjunction with the Global ExPolaroid Polaroid Exhibition Festival. FilmNeverDie is a group of Australian photographers who are pushing analogue image-making, representing Melbourne as one of 40 cities around the world participating in this festival, with ExPolaroid coordinating workshops, conferences and exhibitions globally. The event is open to the public.

The FilmNeverDie 'Polaroid Resurrection' Exhibition is on at Photonet Gallery, 15A Railway Place, Fairfield, Melbourne VIC 3078. The gallery is open Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, and Sunday, noon to 4pm.
