Photography apparel company COOPH have added a new addition to their clothing range - a photographer's jacket priced at a cool €398.

Made from EtaProof®, a 100% cotton fabric from Swiss weaving mill Stotz, the fabric was originally used to create overalls for British Hurricane pilots during the Second World War. The waterproof material protected them from early hypothermia after plunging into the ice-cold Atlantic Ocean, and gave pilots a fair chance of survival. The protective gear was also comfortable to wear, both in the cockpit and during the long hours of waiting for assignments.

Cut, hand-crafted and sewn in Poland, the jacket is designed to support freedom of movement and keep photographers comfortable when shooting in any position.

The jacket holds a variety of inner and outer pockets to stash photographic accessories and even has a quick access pocket to store a smartphone. While the jacket is a light and breathable photo shoot companion, it also has a stylish, military-inspired design that makes it just as wearable on the town as it is chasing shots in the wild.
