Viltrox announces AF 56mm F1.7 APS-C lens for Fujifilm and Nikon cameras
Viltrox has released a new cut-price APS-C lens for Fujifilm and Nikon cameras.

The autofocus-enabled 56mm F1.7 (85mm equivalent) lens, will set you back just $139USD ($215 AUD), and it features 11 elements in nine groups with nine aperture blades.
Viltrox says the lens design uses a stepper motor, which promises "accurate and smooth focusing," and has a minimum focus distance of 0.55m.
The lens weighs 171g for X-mount, but comes in slightly heavier at 187g for the Z-mount version.
Viltrox says the lens has an aluminum bayonet, and the front of the lens is fully waterproof.
Unfortunately the lens doesn't have a dedicated aperture ring, a feature found on the more expensive Viltrox 56mm F1.4.
You can find out about the new lens at Viltrox's website.
