OM Systems releases new lens roadmap; Confirms next M43 lens

OM Systems, formerly Olympus, has released a new lens roadmap, and confirmed its next lens set for release is the M.Zuiko Digital ED 90mm F3.5 Macro IS PRO (35mm Equivalent: 180mm), the first telemacro lens in the M.Zuiko PRO series. The lens is set to be released in 2023.

The new 180mm equivalent lens will offer up to 2:1 magnification (4x in 35mm equivalent terms).

The roadmap confirms a couple of telephoto zooms in the 40-150mm range are also incoming, further bolstering an already stacked lineup of Micro Four Thirds glass.
