Nikon confirms Z 9 is coming soon
Nikon has announced its newest flagship mirrorless camera will be launching later this year, promising 'the best still and video performance in Nikon history'.
According to the company, the camera will feature a newly-developed FX-format stacked CMOS sensor, a new processor, and support 8K video. The first image of the body confirms it will be aimed at professionals and feature an integrated-grip style body.
Other than that, Nikon hasn't offered much other info, although this is fairly consistent with the company's marketing strategy, with other cameras, like the D6, announced in a similar way back in 2019.
That said, Nikon Rumours have posted some expected specs for the camera, which is likely to include either a 45MP or 60MP sensor and 20fps shooting with no blackout.
