New KODAK STEP range to hit Aussie shores
C+A Global has announced that the KODAK STEP, their newest instant print range carrying the Kodak name, will be available for purchase in Australia via their local distributor, Brands Australia.
The new product line includes two instant print cameras, as well as a portable instant printer that can print wallet-sized, adhesive-backed prints. The 10-megapixel KODAK STEP Instant Print Digital Camera has been created for photographers looking to easily capture memories with point-and-shoot photographs.
The camera features a 10-second timer, three picture modes, an optical viewfinder and a MicroSD card slot. This new gadget will set you back $199.95 AUD.
The second camera in the range, the 13-megapixel KODAK STEP Touch Instant Digital Print Camera, boasts a range of levelled-up features from the 10-megapixel version, which is why it comes with a heftier price tag of $299.95 AUD.
The new camera features a 3.5 inch LCD touchscreen, a 2x digital zoom and the capacity to record 1080P HD video with sound.
Users can edit their photos on the screen before using the KODAK STEP Prints app to print their images. On the app, which is available on Google Play and on the Apple app store, users can also add borders, filters and other effects to their photos before sharing them from the app to social media or printing them on the KODAK STEP Instant Mobile Photo Printer.
The KODAK STEP Instant Mobile Photo Printer can connect to a smartphone or a camera. It can print wallet-sized images in under a minute through the use of Zink (Zero Ink) technology.
The printer needs 2x3 inch KODAK ZINK Sticky-Backed Paper, which is available for purchase in packs of 20 and 50 sheets, which are sold at $28.95 AUD and $59.95 AUD respectively.
