Leica has a new James bond inspired Q2 '007 Edition'

Leica has announced another limited edition variant of its Q2 full frame mirrorless camera: the 007 Edition, a tie in with the oft-delayed 25th James Bond movie No Time To Die

Each of the 250 Q2s feature the 007 logo on both the top plate and below the rear LCD, as well as the iconic gun barrel design from the films' opening credits on the camera's lens cap. Otherwise, it's pretty much the same Q2 we reviewed back in 2019.

The camera is wrapped in what the company calls “ocean green” colored leather, and comes in its own (quite fetching) handcrafted case designed by the British luxury suitcase maker Globe-Trotter.

At the same time, an exclusive photography exhibition celebrating the release of No Time To Die will feature behind-the-scenes photographs shot on Leica cameras by Michael G. Wilson, Daniel Craig, Nicola Dove and Greg Williams.

The Leica Q2 ‘007 Edition’ is available to purchase through Australian Leica stores for RRP $11,900.00. You can find out more here.
