Leica announces 'robust' SL3 Reporter
Leica has announced the Leica SL3 Reporter, a new addition to its SL3 mirrorless full-frame camera series.
The German company describes the new version of the SL3 as 'robust' and designed for photographers working in challenging environments.
The SL3 Reporter features a scratch-resistant dark green finish and an aramid fabric cover to protect the camera body from abrasion and damage.
In addition, its textured trim improves grip and stability and develops a unique patina over time. The camera has dark green paintwork with black controls and deliberately does not display the red Leica logo.
In terms of specifications, the SL3 Reporter is the same as the standard SL3, offering up to 60-megapixel resolution, precise autofocus, and a fast connection to the Leica FOTOS App for professional workflow.
The Leica SL3 Reporter is available in Leica Stores in Sydney, Melbourne, and Chadstone, online at leica-store.com.au, and through authorised Leica retailers.
The recommended retail price is (gulp) $12,890, about $700 more than the standard SL3. You can find out more here.
