Peter Ogden, Worimi Wanderings (LANDSCAPE 2020)
I walked along a fire trail into the Worimi Conservation Lands, on the NSW north coast, on a sweltering summer’s day. The forest quickly gave way to the biggest shifting sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere and a whole new world. Several surreal scenes greeted me, but these gnarled tree trunks were by far the weirdest - eroded, hacked and bent into shape by man and nature. The dead bird in the 4th image soon had me looking over my shoulder…
