A deepening low pressure system and gale force southerly winds with hazardous surf warnings along the NSW coast, were predicted in late May this year. The ensuing fierce winds, huge swell and threatening skies contributed to the scene. And the use of long exposure techniques shows the flow and patterns created by wild movement of the water. Yet somehow the moody scenes appear tranquil.
