Kerri Moore, Winter Nights (February theme: Blue)

Midnight at Johnson Lake in Banff, Alberta, Canada. This night I was on my own taking photos. Earlier that week this whole area was closed down due to a large bear spotted hanging around this area. I was a little on edge being all alone and I didn't have bear spray on me and I could hear wolves howling in the distance. A large elk almost scared me to death when he crept up behind me but turns out he was just thirsty.
