Michelle Gray, Windows in Time (February theme: Windows)

Photography has a unique ability to freeze moments in time and enable us to imagine the stories that unfolded in a particular setting. Just like that old window, a photograph can serve as a portal, offering us a quick glimpse into the past or even a different reality. When we observe a photograph, we often find ourselves wondering what was happening at that exact moment. What conversations took place? What emotions were being felt? It's like having a sneak peek into a world that no longer exists. As I peered through that weathered window, I couldn't help but feel a sense of connection with the people who once called that farm house their home. It reminded me of how photography can bridge the gap between the present and the past, capturing memories that would otherwise fade away.
