Image description: This photo was taken as I was walking around Griffiths Island in Port Fairy. There is a circular path around the island. The first half has a clear footpath to follow through low bushes but in the second half the path abruptly ends and there is just beach, rocks and a huge sand dune to navigate to reach your destination. The contrast is striking. The tide was coming in and I needed to climb over the large black rocks to make it around. The rocks in the foreground create a nice frame and leading lines while the sand dune looms large in the background Camera: Nikon Z6 Lens: Nikon Z 24-200mm Focal Length: 46mm Shutter speed: 1/40 secs Aperture: f/9 ISO: 100 Software edits: Converted to black and white and adjusted to strengthen the contrast of the light sand and black rocks.
