Captured from an aerial vantage point over the Hunter Region, this minimalist landscape explores the fleeting interplay of morning light, dense fog, and low-lying mist. The composition is built on repeating horizontal bands, where rolling hills and silhouetted clusters of trees emerge like islands from a sea of vapor. The low-angled morning sun filters directly through the foliage and mist, casting dramatic, elongated rays across the valleys. These alternating ribbons of bright, illuminated fog and deep, shadowy groves create a powerful graphic rhythm that perfectly embodies the theme of light and shadow.
