Sash Emmanuelle Somerset-Beauverie, View to the Marina from West St Kilda Beach Pavilion (During COVID-19 Lockdown) (September Theme: Travel)

This is a photo of the West St Kilda Beach Pavilion Cafe and it’s Beach with it’s beautiful view out to the marina and sea, showing how the West St Kilda Beach Pavilion Cafe is impacted by the COVID-19 lockdown having to be closed for sit-down eating, and be for take-away only, all taped-up closed off, looking sad and dramatically too bare and empty without diners sitting at the cafe. A few die-hard beach lovers sit outside along the cafe’s nearby beach to picnic, eat and relax near the cafe. I uploaded this to inspire people that even if we can’t travel overseas glamorously right now, our beaches also offer us a great place to travel to our own towns & neighbourhoods with plenty of beautiful beach scenery to enjoy.
