Blaire Slade , Veiled in Light (LIGHT/SHADOW - Entries close 30 September 2026)

Veiled in Light Captured on a Sony ILCE-7M4 with a 50mm Sony f/1.2 lens. The bride was standing in a pocket of patterned natural light, which created shifting highlights and shadows across her face. I was drawn to the way the light partially revealed and concealed her features, giving the portrait a quiet, almost cinematic quality while still feeling completely natural to the moment.
