Paul Goh, Under the Milky Way (LANDSCAPE 2023)
In Perth, Western Australia, we are blessed with sufficiently dark skies to view the Milky Way without having to travel a great distance. These landscapes feature the Milky Way in locations within 50-110 km from Perth all photographed in the past few months of 2023. It is estimated that one-third of humanity are not able to see the Milky Way. With the ever growing need for housing and development, I sometimes wonder how much longer we will be able to enjoy starry nights in some of these locations.
