Kathy Chapman, Uber Dog (Single Shot 2017)

As I stepped out of the IGA in North Brighton one night last summer, I came face to face with this hirsute driver waiting patiently for his passenger. He was beautifully lit by the shop light so I quickly ran to my car to grab my camera and shoot him. As I took the photo the real driver emerged from the shop and laughed and told me that every time she gets out of the car, even for a second, he leaps into the driver's seat.
