Michael Giannattilio, Tunnel View (Single Shot 2017)
After driving 6 hours to finally arrive at Yosemite National Park for sunset, to say I was keen to take photos was an understatement. We stayed out all night and shot the stars until around 2am when we decided to drive down to this magical place otherwise known as "Tunnel View". Once we arrived unfortunately they were doing roadworks and had closed off the tunnel so our photos were not going to turn out great, so we set up camp at the parking lot next to the tunnel and wait to shoot it for sunrise. After a whooping 2 hours of sleep we woke up to a beautiful blue haze with some stars still visible! Allowing me to take this shot... being able to stand in front of this place was an indescribable experience.
