Kelli Baker, Transported (September theme: What Matters to Me )

As a child, I went through a rough patch that I desperately wanted relief from. It was then that I got heavily into reading because, even if it was just for a short time, I would feel transported to another world where my problems faded away. So this image represents my love and thankfulness of books by having me, the shadowy silhouette that is darkened by worries, travel through a tunnel of pages to reach a brighter place.
