Polly Fenton, Tin City near Stockton Beach, NSW. (LANDSCAPE 2022)

Tin City was initially a camp started by homeless men during the Depression, the buildings were made of scraps of anything that could be retrieved. These days the residents cannot sell their shacks, but they are passed down through the generations - only 11 remain.. It feels very surreal to visit, with half buried shacks, strong winds, pounding ocean and massive sand dunes surrounding the shacks.
