Anne Baker, Three Birds A Flying (January theme: First light)

I took this image on a Camera Club weekend away at Hawkes Nest NSW. We were on the beach before sunrise and I was looking to try something different so I shot this while intentionally moving the camera sideways. I love the beautiful light and the subtle tones. I felt the image wasn't strong enough on its own so I added the birds in from another image to give it a focal point but nothing that would take away from the tranquility of the scene. Shot with a Sony A77 Sony, 70 - 400mm lens, ISO 50, 105 mm, f13, 1/3 sec.
