David Byrne, They are melting (Landscape 2019)
Seeing the icebergs in southern Iceland really hammered home how quickly climate change is upon us. Every piece of ice that breaks off the glaciers and floats into the ocean will not be replenished in our lifetimes. There will come a time when Iceland can no longer lay claim to its own name, and that will be one less thing to marvel at. We must do better to slow the melt.
