Rudy Kalele, The wheel of colour! (ABSTRACT - Entries closed)
Date taken: 5th October 2025 Place: Floriade Night Fest, Canberra Camera: Canon EOS R5 Mk2 Lens: Canon: RF 15 -35mm f/2.8 L Aperture: f/11 Exposure time: 0.8sec ISO: 100 Focal length: 35mm Exposure programme: Manual Tripod, no flash Photo processed using Lightroom No AI Having captured many photos of Ferris Wheel's in motion, and at when lit at night. I wanted to create a unique abstract light painting. To achieve this I zoomed out the lens whilst setting a longish exposure of 0.8 sec. The effect of these two elements (movement of the Ferris Wheel and the zoom of the lens) simultaneously turned out to be quite spectacular. This is now printed and framed to appreciate as one passes by it.
