Fiona Pennisi-Mitchell, The Sky Below 2 - Still Forms (OCEAN - Entries close 30 November 2026)

'The Sky Below 2 - Still Forms' was taken handheld using an Apple iPhone 13 with the built-in 5.1mm lens (26mm equivalent) at f/1.6, 1/8000 sec, ISO 50. Captured along the Wynnum Esplanade at high tide, the image explores the quiet stillness of the ocean, where the mirrored surface reflects both the expansive sky and the delicate forms of the mangrove trees. Edits were carried out in Apple Photos and Microsoft Photos to refine colour, contrast and tonal balance, preserving the serenity of the moment.
