My favourite shot of 2025. This image of St Saviours Cathedral in Goulburn NSW is my proudest image to date, as this was my first successful image taken using the process of Dry plate photography, using a vintage Kodak pocket premo C in Quarter plate, a camera over 100 years old. This process of photography intrigues me the most and I think it is extremely important to remember the past and how photography started, as I believe in a world of technology and digital imagery the art is becoming lost. Seeing this image appear before my eyes whilst in the developing process was mind-blowing, truly magical. Despite the evolution of photography ever changing the fundamentals remain. I had one shot and I am extremely proud of the outcome.
