Janette Anderson, The Rippling Effect (April theme: Detail)
This photo I took on my first fungi expedition. It was on a rotten fallen down post and I was trying out my 100mm macro lens. To photograph the textures of the ripples underneath, I had to lie on the ground to get beneath it. Difficult but fun. I was using my Canon 5DMK11. I think a camera with a flip out view screen would make shooting fungi much easier. But I certainly loved the challenge and got some great shots of an amazing array of different fungi.
