Shot handheld with the Olympus OM‑D E‑M1 Mark II, using the Olympus 7–14mm at 7mm for 1/5 sec, this image captures the dramatic interplay of light and shadow inside the historic Stick Shed at Murtoa. Converting the frame to monochrome stripped away distraction and allowed the geometry, contrast, and depth to take centre stage. Subtle masking was applied to guide the eye through the corridor of timber pillars, enhancing the glow of the highlights while preserving the quiet weight of the shadows.
