Jacob Kononiuk, The Overpass (February theme: Unusual angles)

The Overpass displays Australian snowdrifts at Mt. Kosciuszko National Park in summer (yes, there’s snow in Australia!). Inspired by Australia’s renowned and OG photographer David Moore, I hope to evoke gratitude and awe for the land we live on. I especially pay my respect to the original custodians of the land, the Walgalu people and the Ngarigo people. To this day, this indigenous culture manage and hold high significance of this beautiful national park.
