Andrew Otterspoor, The Ocean's Fingerprint (OCEAN - Entries close 30 November 2026)

I made this image of the ripples in the sand from Moonta Bay jetty. The reminded me of fingerprints the ocean has left as the tide receded. Captured on a Canon 750D and a Tamron 18-400mm lens with a CPL filter. Settings were 35mm, ISO 100, f/9, 1/200 second. Editing consisted of slight exposure increase and an increase in shadows to accentuate the ripples.
