Mark Clifford, The Ocean At Your Door (Creative 2021)

On a cold winter morning in Port Augusta, I found a patch of mangroves close to the coast and because of the weather, there were clouds sitting on the water surface while the coastline was clear as day. I found this lone mangrove tree and took a low angled shot to give the perception of a sunken full-sized tree you might find more inland and the clouds provided an awesome background effect. The intent of the image would be to trick the eyes and have people believe this as an actual submerged tree to draw on the parallels of how this may become true to life if global warming is left unchecked and we don't act now.
