I have been visiting Platypus Bay north of Hervey Bay for three decades, taking pictures of whales each year ,this occasion I was blessed to witness a mother humpback teaching this calf to breach, I shot images from the nose getting out of the water and slowly but surely more of her body to finally this image where she has fully breached.
