Ella Brown, The Last Colour (February theme: Colour)

This was taken in Glen Waverly, Melbourne, Australia and I decided to make a story out of this particular photograph. It's the year 3571, bees are extinct and we're living off freeze-dried foods and fake flowers for the rest of our lives. On your way to the Space Shuttle that will take you to a better life on Mars, you find the last flower left, the last real colour in the world and one of its petals is already falling off...
