Robert Sutton, The Kelpies (February theme: Amazing places)

The Kelpies are a pair of monumental steel horse-heads between the Scottish towns of Falkirk and Grangemouth at the eastern gateway of the Forth and Clyde Canal, which meets the River Carron. The sculptures, which represent kelpies (mythical shape shifting spirits inhabiting lochs in Scottish and Yorkshire folklore).
