Across the world humankind managed to survive in dry harsh environments: from the lonely child of Wahiba Sand dunes of Oman, to the uninhabited village of Al Madam in United Arab Emirates now retaken by the sand dunes, to the dried pink Lake Hart of South Australia, to the lost sandstone tombs of the desert nomads of Ancient Hegra in Saudi Arabia. With climate change, the world will change. Humankind will continue to cope
